The film "Northmen: A Viking Saga" follows a group of exiled Vikings who are stranded on the coast of Scotland after their ship sinks in a storm. They are attacked by soldiers escorting a princess, who they take hostage to ransom for money to buy entry into a friendly land. The Vikings encounter a Christian monk who grants them aid and shelter. Meanwhile, King Dunchaid sends a mercenary force to pursue them, knowing of the princess's distaste for their group. The Vikings manage to escape and learn of the mercenaries' plan to kill both the princess and the Vikings.
