The season also explores the aftermath of the hatch implosion for Locke, Eko, and Desmond, the growing tensions between the survivors, and culminates in a daring rescue attempt at a hidden Others' "village" known as the Hydra, leading to a shocking revelation about the island and the islanders' ability to leave.
