A heart warming tale set in the 1800's, that tells the story of Amelia, who is very ritual oriented-she goes to church, she reads the Bible, but thru the movie she kind of gives up on it. Amelia struggles with loss of faith, feeling she's been abandoned by God and is completely on her own...in the end she realizes that she does have faith and she does believe.
