Legend Of The Lone Ranger
DVD
Format: Pre-Owned DVD
Set in 1854 Texas, The Legend of the Lone Ranger follows the origin story of the masked hero. The film begins with a young John Reid hiding a Comanche boy named Tonto from a gang led by outlaw Bartholomew “Butch” Cavendish (Christopher Lloyd). When the outlaws attack a nearby village, they kill everyone except John. Tonto rescues him and takes him to his reservation, where he teaches him Comanche archery, survival skills, and the warrior way of life. The two become blood brothers. Years later, John travels to Detroit to study law, dreaming of returning to the frontier. On a stagecoach journey to Texas, he is ambushed by Cavendish’s gang, which kills the shotgun rider and wounds the driver. John surrenders a mailbag of property deeds.
