"Iceman" is a 1984 American science fiction drama film directed by Fred Schepisi and starring Timothy Hutton. The film follows the discovery of a prehistoric Neanderthal caveman frozen in ice and the subsequent efforts to bring him back to life. The story centers around anthropologist Stanley Shephard, who is brought to an arctic base to study the frozen man. As Shephard attempts to communicate with the Neanderthal, known as Charlie, the film explores themes of humanity, culture, and the potential of understanding past civilizations.
