House Party 4: Down to the Last Minute is a 2001 American direct-to-video comedy starring IMx (Marques Houston, Kelton Kessee, Jerome Jones) and marking the franchise’s first installment without Kid ‘n Play. The story follows Jon “Jon-Jon” Harris Jr. (Marques Houston), a high school senior who lands a lucrative house-sitting gig for his wealthy Uncle Charles. The mansion comes with a sleek platinum Mercedes-Benz 430 worth over $100,000, but Uncle Charles warns Jon-Jon not to drive the car or have guests over. Ignoring the warnings, Jon-Jon throws a massive “entertainment party” and uses the occasion to audition his hip-hop group, IMx, for a record executive.
