Darkness Before Dawn is a 1993 biographical television drama starring Meredith Baxter as Mary Ann and Stephen Lang as Guy. It follows a nurse at a methadone clinic hiding her own severe chemical dependency stemming from an abusive childhood. She marries a patient trying to recover from heroin addiction, leading to a spiraling shared cycle of substance abuse and family turmoil.
