Raised in vastly different circumstances—one a doctor in Appalachia, another a wealthy baroness in France, and the third a driven New York television executive, Hilary—the sisters are eventually found by a private investigator hired by a guilt-ridden family friend. The reunion forces each woman to confront their past, family secrets, and the trauma that tore them apart, ultimately leading to a complex journey of forgiveness and finding family.
