Season 3 picks up one year after the events of Season 2, centering on Louis Tobin, the patriarch of a wealthy family, who has confessed to orchestrating the largest Ponzi scheme in Wall Street history. The U.S. government assigns Patty Hewes and Tom Shayes to recover the Tobins’ hidden assets and investigate whether other family members, including Louis’ son Joe Tobin and attorney Leonard Winstone, had prior knowledge of the fraud.
