"Confidential Informant" is a gritty crime thriller that follows two narcotics agents on the hunt for a cop killer during a crack epidemic. Their investigation leads them to Moran, a desperate junkie informant who puts a stool pigeon in danger to protect his family. As the agents and Moran work together, their partnership deteriorates, and they find themselves entangled in a complex web of suspicion and deceit, leading to a dangerous confrontation. The film is based on a true story and is directed by Michael Oblowitz.
