Code Breakers is a 2005 ESPN Original Entertainment TV movie that aired on December 10, 2005, following the Heisman Trophy presentation Academic Dictionaries and Encyclopedias. Directed by Rod Holcomb, it dramatizes a real-life 1951 scandal at the United States Military Academy at West Point. The story centers on the Army football team, considered the crown jewel of West Point, and the intense pressure to win the 1950 Army–Navy Game MUBI. For player George Holbrook, balancing his coach’s expectations with the Academy’s strict honor code becomes a constant challenge. The tension builds as a cheating scandal erupts, implicating 83–90 cadets, including 37 lettering football players and the son of the school’s football coach (played by Scott Glenn).
