Centurion (2010) is a gritty, action-thriller set in 117 AD Britain, following Quintus Dias (Michael Fassbender), a Roman centurion who survives a brutal Pict ambush that destroys the Ninth Legion. Stranded behind enemy lines with a small band of soldiers, Dias must lead them on a desperate, high stakes escape across the harsh Scottish Highlands while hunted by vengeful Pict warriors.
