Brideshead Revisited
DVD
Format: Pre-Owned DVD
The Brideshead Revisited 25th Anniversary Edition (released in 2008 for the 1981 TV series) covers Charles Ryder’s nostalgic journey from his Oxford days to the 1940s, tracing his romantic fascination with the aristocratic, Catholic Flyte family and their estate, Brideshead. The story explores themes of faith, memory, and social change as Charles moves from friendship with the hedonistic Sebastian Flyte to a complex, forbidden love with his sister, Julia, amidst the backdrop of the declining British aristocracy.
