Set in ancient Persia, the story unfolds through the voices of young women in a royal harem who recount the tale of Sherazade, a dancer in a traveling circus. Sherazade captures the attention of Kamar, the younger brother of the Caliph Haroun al-Rashid (Jon Hall). Kamar’s infatuation with her leads him to plot a coup against their brother, aiming to seize the throne and make Sherazade his queen.
