In Season 7 of Weeds, three years after her arrest, Nancy is released from prison and sent to a New York City halfway house, while her family lives in Copenhagen. Jill, Nancy's sister-in-law, has been raising Stevie, leading to a custody battle when Nancy returns. Meanwhile, Andy starts a bike shop as a front for Nancy's operations, Silas gets involved in the drug business in California, and Shane becomes involved with a NYPD detective. The season ends with the family, including Jill, moving in together in Connecticut, only for the episode to cut to a rifle's crosshairs on Nancy's head, setting up the events for the final season.
