In The Nun, Demian Bichir plays Father Burke, a priest with a troubled past, who is sent by the Vatican to investigate the suicide of a nun at a Romanian abbey. He is joined by Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga), a young novitiate, and Frenchie (Jonas Bloquet), a local villager, as they uncover a dark secret within the monastery and confront the demonic entity known as Valak. Their investigation leads them to a horrifying battle between good and evil, where they must fight to protect their faith and souls from the malevolent force.
