The first season of the BBC show Atlantis follows Jason, who washes up in the fabled city of Atlantis while searching for his father. He becomes embroiled in a dangerous political and mythological world, aided by his new friends Hercules and Pythagoras, as they navigate the city's secrets, a tyrannical king, and numerous challenges from Greek myths. The season includes plots involving the search for the Minotaur, political scheming between the Queen and her daughter Ariadne, and Jason's own destiny tied to Atlantis.
