The series picks up from the miniseries "The Bible" and the film "Son of God," focusing on the early days of the Christian church, beginning with the first ten chapters of the Acts of the Apostles. It explores the challenges faced by the disciples as they spread the teachings of Jesus amidst political unrest and persecution, ultimately leading to the establishment of the Christian faith.
