Recorded with a deep connection to his surroundings, Jon literally brings his home into the music — including birdsong, ambient sounds, and even the voice of his wife, Jane. The album recalls the ethereal feel of Anderson’s beloved Olias of Sunhillow, but while that release leaned into the supernatural, Earth Mother Earth takes a more grounded, naturalistic approach.
Acoustic guitar, harp, and layered vocals flow together to create an atmospheric and emotionally resonant listening experience.
