The Cat Returns is a 2002 animated fantasy film produced by Studio Ghibli and directed by Hiroyuki Morita. Originally developed as a short project for a theme park, the story evolved into a feature film that became Ghibli’s first theatrical release not directed by Hayao Miyazaki or Isao Takahata.

Yuji Nomi, the composer behind "Whisper of the Heart," has once again composed the music. Includes the theme song "Become the Wind" by Ayano Tsuji, as well as five bonus tracks.
