After a decade of collaboration in both Smith Westerns and Whitney, longtime bandmates Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek entered the studio in the summer of 2024 without a producer—relying instead on trusted friends who dropped in to contribute, creating an intimate and authentic recording experience.
