Touched by an Angel season 1 follows newly promoted angel Monica, who is assigned to help people at their life's crossroads alongside her supervisor, the experienced and sarcastic Tess. In each episode, they are dispatched to guide someone facing a major problem, with the help of the Angel of Death, Andrew, who sometimes assists them. The angels bring messages of hope from God, though they often learn lessons of their own in the process.
