The Russian Specialist, also known as The Mechanik, is a 2005 German American vigilante action film directed by Dolph Lundgren. The plot follows Nick Cherenko, a retired Russian Special Forces soldier, who is called back to Russia for one last job. After his wife and son are killed by a Russian mob boss, Nick seeks revenge and embarks on a mission to rescue his kidnapped daughter.
