"Takers" follows a group of professional bank robbers who specialize in spectacular robberies. They are pulled into one last job by a recently paroled cohort, only to be pitted against a hard-boiled detective and his partner. The crew, led by Gordon Cozier, includes John, A.J., and the Attica brothers, Jake and Jesse. Ghost, a former member, reconnects with the crew and proposes a major heist involving an armored truck carrying $25 million.
