Stephen King's "The Stand" is a four-part film adaptation of his novel, set in a post-apocalyptic world. After a deadly pandemic caused by a bio-engineered virus wipes out most of humanity, the survivors are compelled to choose sides between good and evil. The film follows the journey of a group of survivors led by Mother Abigail and Randall Flagg, as they confront the forces of good and evil in a final battle for the fate of humanity.
