"Redemption" (TNG Season 4, Episode 26 & Season 5, Episode 1) follows a Klingon civil war initiated by the Duras sisters, who are backed by the Romulans to install a puppet leader, Toral. Worf fights to restore his family honor, eventually resigning from Starfleet to join the fight, while Picard navigates a tense neutrality, ultimately exposing Romulan intervention via a tachyon detection net.
