Nip/Tuck Season 3 focuses on the ongoing personal and professional struggles of plastic surgeons Sean McNamara and Christian Troy, as well as the introduction of the mysterious "Carver" serial rapist and killer. The season sees Sean and Christian dealing with a new partnership, family issues, and the Carver's increasing presence in their lives and the lives of their patients. The season also explores the darker sides of the characters, including Matt's descent into drug use and self-destructive behavior.
