The "Lies Beneath" plot synopsis focuses on Éclair and Lumière's investigation of the Rosenfelt family, a ruling family of Nouvlesses, and Éclair's personal journey to recover her memories. As Éclair and Lumière get involved in the Rosenfelt family's succession issues, Éclair faces her own past on the planet Aure, leading her to question things she shouldn't. The arc builds on the "Lies Beneath" title, exploring darker themes and foreshadowing the more significant plot twists that will occur later in the series.
