Formed in 2005, Gallows — fronted by Frank Carter, alongside guitarist Laurent Barnard, bassist Stuart Gili-Ross, rhythm guitarist Steph Carter and drummer Lee Barratt — tore into a UK scene that had gone soft, bringing blood, sweat and real danger back to the stage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRecorded on the band's own dime with Kevin Banks and released through In At The Deep End Records, the album caught fire fast, earning an international reissue first through Epitaph in the US, then Warner Bros. worldwide a year later. All twelve tracks were written by the band themselves — songs about alienation, street violence, suburban rot and heartbreak, thrown down over galloping rhythms and snarling guitars.
