Casablanca: Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), who owns a nightclub in Casablanca, discovers his old flame Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman) is in town with her husband, Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid). Laszlo is a famed rebel, and with Germans on his tail, Ilsa knows Rick can help them get out of the country.

Gigi: is the story of a young French woman being trained to be a courtesan in turn-of-the-century Paris, who falls in love with her family's wealthy family friend. The playboy, Gaston, and the spirited Gigi's platonic friendship evolves into a romance, which is complicated by the fact that her family and his uncle expect her to become his mistress, not his wife. Ultimately, love prevails as Gaston realizes he cannot live without Gigi and proposes marriage instead of the planned liaison. 

An American in Paris: Jerry Mulligan (Gene Kelly) is an American ex-GI who stays in post-war Paris to become a painter, and falls for the gamine charms of Lise Bouvier (Leslie Caron). However, his paintings come to the attention of Milo Roberts, a rich American heiress, who is interested in more than just art.

Mrs. Miniver: A moving drama about a middle-class English family learning to cope with war, told in a series of dramatic vignettes. The family, headed by the lovely and gracious matriarch, endures the departure of the father for the beaches at Dunkirk, the discovery of a wounded Nazi pilot, the death of the daughter-in-law in an air raid, and the entry of the son into the Royal Air Force.
