Dangerous Money - A US treasury agent on the trial of counterfeit money, confides with fellow passenger, Detective Charlie Chan that two attempts have been made on his life onboard the ocean liner. The detective finally decides to act once the agent is finally slain.
The Chinese Ring - Chinese Princess Mei Ling travels to the United States to buy planes for her people; shortly after arriving in San Francisco, she is killed by a poison dart at Charlie Chan's house; the famous detective tries to solve the murder case.
