The music business is a rough trade for Hollow Body, a struggling rock band led by washed-up guitarist Jimmy Kleen (David Arquette) and Rick (Luke Wilson), a shady record executive. After their latest show flops, the band's shy lead singer Rachel is struck by lightning, transforming her into an out-of-control rock star seductress determined to push Hollow Body to the top.
